Inclusion Alliance is a not-for-profit organisation, limited by guarantee, with charitable status. Scottish Charity No. SC026889. Company Limited by Guarantee Co. No. SC206865
The organisation is funded by the City of Edinburgh Council, Department of Health and Social Care.
The organisation was set up to be able to respond to legislation enabling people to access Direct Payments.
The Board of Management is 51% user led and consists of people with learning difficulties, parents of people with learning difficulties and interested and committed professionals.
Inclusion Alliance has an efficient and effective head office team of a manager, 2 assistant managers and a finance and admin officer. The managment team are responsible for employing support workers and managing individual budgets in partnership with service users and their families.
